Just missed the death but still keen on scaling Everest

Pudota Neelima, the Techie who went missing on their way to the base camp of Mount Everest in Nepal during the Earth Quake finally reached home safe and sound. Neelima and her team were at 4700 feet on the Everest. Had they reached the base camp by then, they would have been dead.

Air Force saved Neelima and her team and she reached home happily. Neelima works for Cognizant in Hyderabad. She had trained for three months prior to joining a 21-member trekking group, most of them foreigners, for the 15-day adventurous Everest Base Camp organised by a Bangalore-based firm.

However the 28 year old bravely told media that scaling Everest is her dream, “Death may happen here or at Everest. I will not stop my adventures and will scale the Everest for sure one day”, said Neelima. However her parents look too worried to allow her. It is known that a 7.9-magnitude Earth quake hit the Himalayan country on last Saturday and killed more than 10000 people. The death toll is increasing every hour as the debris is being cleared.
