Fake Rumours: Big Movie Coming in Time

The ongoing strike in Kollywood by Tamil Film Producer’s Council against Digital Providers had become a roadblock for small movies that had their releases scheduled in March and April. Meanwhile, the release date of ‘Kaala’ is fast approaching and they dare not release their movies in the vicinity of ‘Kaala‘ release.

In this scenario, a rumor erupted claiming that the makers of ‘Kaala’ are considering postponing their movie by a week to make space for small movies that are suffering due to the ongoing strike. The production house of ‘Kaala’, Lyca Productions took no time to deny the rumors and clarify that they hadn’t pondered upon postponing their movie.

They even warned that they aren’t responsible for those statements that are arising with regard to the release date speculations. So, as of now, ‘Kaala’ is coming to theatres as scheduled on 27th April. Postponing the movie to a later date means foregoing a big opportunity to get a wider solo release, this Summer.
