Kajal Rejection Sent Rakul to Nani

It’s a fresh combination of Nani with Rakul Preet Singh for the multi-starrer also featuring senior hero Nagarjuna as one of the male leads. How did Rakul get the chance to essay Nani’s heroine for the first time?

Initially, the role went to Kajal Agarwal. But, the actress has been busy with prior commitments and hence, couldn’t allot the dates for Nani’s movie. However, she suggested Rakul’s name in her place as Rakul happens to be Kajal Agarwal’s good friend in the industry.

Rakul took a break from South movies as she doesn’t want to get too repetitive. According to the latest reports, she has agreed to do Nani’s movie because she was impressed with the story of the film. Director Sriram Adittya is going to helm this interesting project with an interesting combination.
