OTT Remake Gamble: Kajal’s Risky Comeback Plan

Kajal Aggarwal was last seen in the Salman Khan and Rashmika starrer Sikander. The film turned out to be a huge disaster. This setback affected Kajal’s image, despite her strong track record of hits in the South.

In recent times, her career has slowed down. Offers from filmmakers have become limited. Many believe her marriage also reduced opportunities, which remains a harsh reality for several actresses in the industry.

The films she took up after that phase failed to make an impact. At present, Kajal does not have a single Telugu film in her line up. This has raised questions about her next move.

Amid this situation, reports suggest Kajal is in talks for the Telugu remake of the Hindi OTT series Aarya, which featured Sushmita Sen. If this materialises, it will mark her official entry into the digital space.

However, the decision is being viewed as risky. With Sikander failing to connect with audiences, doubts remain whether an OTT remake can revive her momentum.

Whether this gamble works in Kajal Aggarwal’s favour remains to be seen.
