Recently Kajal Agarwal was offered a meaty role in a Bollywood upcoming project titled ‘Aur Devdas’. This film is going to be the modern adaptation of Sharat’s novel ‘Devdas’. Kajal was offered to play the role of Chandramukhi, classical prostitute. Naturally Kajal was overwhelmed to be a part of Sudhir Mishra’s project (Wednesday fame). This would be her next project after ‘Special 26’ in Bollywood.
But Kajal has to decline the offer for the sake of Ram Charan Tej and Jr.NTR. As both the Tollywood heroes’ films are in the production stage, she couldn’t adjust the dates to the Bollywood film which would go on floors in September. Kajal would be busy shooting for Charan and NTR’s movies in the month and hence has no other go but to decline playing Chandramukhi. Sources say that she was very interested to do the film and isn’t happy to let it go off her hands.
