Kalki 2898 AD is set to receive its National Award honours today. The winners were announced in July, with the Prabhas and Nag Ashwin collaboration securing two honours. The film was named the Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment, while Production Designer Nitin Zihani was also recognised with a National Award for his work on the project.

Kalki 2898 AD created a futuristic world by bringing together mythology, technology, production design and visual storytelling.
