Actor Kamal Haasan’s elder brother Charuhasan has been hospitalised. 93-year-old Chaaru Haasan is also an actor and it is heard that he has been hospitalised due to age-related issues.
Charuhasan’s daughter, Suhasini Haasan, took to social media to share a picture of her father from the hospital. She said that he is recovering well.
“Vacation or do you call it a medical staycation for my father. He’s recovering well. With love and care from doctors nurses and daughters,” she wrote.
Charuhasan is a National Award winning actor. He won the Best Actor National Award for the 1986 Kannada movie Tabarana Kathe.
In Telugu, he acted in notable films like Inspector Rudra, Ankuram, Nirnayam, Maatru Devo Bhava, Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India, Venky Mama, and Dear Comrade. His recent release was the Tamil film Haraa, which hit the screens in June.
Apart from acting, Charuhasan also directed a couple of films in Tamil. He is the eldest among his brothers and Kamal is the youngest. Their another sibling, Chandrahasan passed away in 2017.
Charuhasan has three daughters, Nandini, Subasini and Suhasini. Among them, Suhasini entered films as an actress.
