Kamal’s “Needless” Comment Hurts Superstar Fans

Kamal Haasan met the Chief Minister of Karnataka, HD Kumaraswamy today. It was said to be to discuss the issue of sharing of Cauvery water. However, the problem got sidelined with one snide remark made by the actor turned politician.

As we all know, there is an issue ongoing with Superstar Rajinikanth’s Kaala getting banned in Karnataka over the comments made by Rajini on the water disputes between the two states. The media asked Kamal Haasan concerning Kaala. Kamal Haasan in a dismissive tone said that he did not talk about Kaala release as it was needless.

The “needless” part has hurt the Superstar fans. They were quick to remind how it was Superstar Rajinikanth who first expressed support to Kamal during the Vishwaroopam controversy. They are furious over the remark, and one surely can understand why. Kaala is releasing all over except Karnataka, as of now, on June 7th.
