Asha Sharath may not be a very popular name in Tollywood but one can trace back her name to the powerful police officer role essayed by senior actress Nadiya in ‘Drushyam’ film. In the original movie in Malayalam ‘Drishyam’, Asha Sharath played the same cop role. She is once again playing the same role in the Tamil version of the movie ‘Paapanasam’.

Asha is super excited to be acting alongside Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan and that too in a challenging role confronting him in the movie. She is completely bowled over by the most talented and creative actor’s humility on sets. She shares her experiences with the ace artist of Cinema. According to Asha, Kamal brings cofee to sets to his co-stars, cracks jokes and talks with her especially in Malayalam.

Being a Malayali she had apprehensions regarding her Tamil, but Kamal encouraged her saying that her Tamil is alright. In the film Asha hails from Kerala but based in Tamil Nadu. Like any other actor, Asha is in awe of Kamal Haasan and his down to earth nature. Sometimes we see that some stars with their newly attained stardom throwing tantrums on sets.
