While fans of Kamal Haasan are eagerly awaiting for the release of Vishwaroopam 2′, the actor-filmmaker has started shooting for his next film titled Uttama Villain, which goes on floors in Bangalore today. Kamal is said to be playing an ageing superstar in the film, which is being directed by his best friend Ramesh Arvind.
This project is likely to be completed in two months and Kamal is expected to shoot non-stop to wrap up as quickly as possible. He will take short break next month during the release of Vishwaroopam 2, which is currently in its final stage of completion. Kamal has written the story of the Uttama Villain, which is likely to feature Pooja Kumar and Andrea Jeremiah from Vishwaroopam team. Kamal has also roped in his mentor K. Balachander to feature in an important role.
The film is likely to release during Diwali this year. It is going to be shot in several exotic locations in India as well as abroad.
