Kannada remake of TFI’s highest grosser in trouble

Looks like the problems with releases are common no matter what the industry and the problem that is causing the release trouble too seems to be the same.

Take the case of Ranna, starring Kicha Sudeep. The film is remake of Tollywood’s biggest grosser of all time Atharintiki Daredi and it has completed is shoot and ready to release too. However there seems to be last minute trouble now. The makers are dragged to court over financial issues that need to be settled. Does the ‘financial issue’ ring a bell? Yes this is pretty standard problem that we now are very used to in Telugu film industry. Ganga anyone?

What this means is that now Ranna may face a delay if the makers don’t settle the problem immediately. The Sudeep starrer is coming with very high expectations and industry and trade were following it keenly. But this issue has come as a surprise to even them.
