Karthikeya 2 has turned out to be the black horse of Tollywood. The film is running with Housefull collections all over the country. Its Hindi version is wreaking havoc in the northern belts with a limited number of screens.

Trade analysts are saying that Karthikeya 2 is recording better occupancies than Bollywood biggies Laal Singh Chaddha and Rakshabandhan. This is simply phenomenal.

For example, the film started with just 8 shows on its first day in Mumbai. But now, it is running with more than 120 shows because of the phenomenal response. The trade is expecting that the film will hit its peak on Krishnashtami coming this week.

The film spreads the greatness of Lord Krishna, and the pro-Hindu audience are loving the concept and are flocking to the theaters. The film is sure to run with good occupancies for a few more weeks.

Many in the trade are claiming that a similar response was received by The Kashmir Files, which took the nation by storm. That film also rod on the Hindutva wave and emerged as the biggest hit of 2022. So Karthikeya 2 is also turning out to be a mini Kashmir Files of sorts.
