Katamarayudu is an out and out mass movie of the routine variety. It is formulaic but in an old way rather than the very recent comedy formula. The teaser makes it very clear and also keeps it to the point. It is for the masses and the impact can be felt among them. It is slickly cut and dialogue works for the fans. Let us wait for the trailer to see if the scope can be expanded beyond the masses.
