Katamarayudu Delivers Where SGS Fails – End Result?

Sardaar Gabbar Singh and Katamarayudu, both are mass films and star the same hero. The similarity ends there. The former, a sequel to the blockbuster Gabbar Singh had humongous hype, the latter is the weakest movie of Pawan Kalyan in ages. It was the scenario until the audio release, and now things changed.

The theatrical trailer of Sardaar Gabbar Singh was an absolute disaster, and it led to decrease in expectations on the film. Katamarayudu, on the other hand, delivers at this final stage after all disappointments.

The trailer of Katamarayudu is well cut. It simultaneously aims at fans, masses, and families and delivers on all counts. There are sure hopes raised but is it enough to generate momentum in the last minute? Katamarayudu doesn’t have the natural hype of SGS, will this matter in the end or will Powerstar manage to turn the tide? We have only a week to find the answer.
