Kayadu Lohar’s Choice Says A Lot About Her Career

Kayadu Lohar is getting opportunities in Bollywood, but the actress does not seem to be in a hurry to move there. She says the films coming her way in the South are simply more exciting, and that is why she wants to continue working here.

That choice becomes interesting when her current lineup is considered. Kayadu Lohar is part of Nani’s The Paradise, which is gearing up for its September 24 release. She also has a film with Suriya coming up, followed by Manjanathi. For an actress still building her position, that is a fairly strong set of projects.

Bollywood offers can obviously open another market, but Kayadu appears to be looking beyond the size of the industry. The projects themselves seem to be deciding where she wants to work.

The Paradise will be her immediate test, especially with the film entering its final promotional stretch. After that, the Suriya project gives her another major South connection, while Manjanathi adds another opportunity to expand her range.

For Kayadu, the strategy seems clear. Rather than rushing towards Bollywood just because offers are coming, she wants to build her career around the South films she actually finds exciting.
