KCR adds a feather to his achievement

Even KCR’s bitter enemies have no choice but to accept his role in the Telangana Movement for Statehood, the momentum the T Agitations gained after he plunged fully into the movement. And he is well rewarded by the people for his achievement by electing him the first Chief Minister of the 29th State of Indian Union.

Here is another feather which got added to the CM’s cap for the statehood movement. He has been awarded the popular choice award at the CBN-IBN Indian of the Year 2014. The first place in this category went to P.Vijayan an IPS officer from Kerala who conceived the idea of Student Police Cadet Force, successfully implemented in Kerala and the project is set to go national soon.

Though KCR couldn’t make it to the event to receive the award, TRS MP K.Keshavarao was present to receive the award on his behalf. While the popular choice award went to KCR, it is Prime Minister Modi who won the Indian of the year 2014 award. Here is the list of the winners of CBN-IBN awardees in various categories:

11. Global Indian: Satya Nadella
