KCR to give wings to a girl from Old City!

As a special case, Telangana government had decided to fund the education of Salwa Fatima, who is the first pilot from purana shahar. Her study at the GMR Aviation Academy and the Telangana State Aviation Academy will entail expenses of around Rs 35 lakh.

The said amount will be released in two installments directly to the Aviation schools. Salwa currently has a commercial pilot license to fly a single engine aircraft and she wants to upgrade her flying skills to multi-engine aircraft with this course.

She will be taking up two courses there: the multiengine rating and a specialisation course called type rating. While the girl is still unaware of the government’s decision, it is learned that the Chief Minister had agreed to help the girl and the GO regarding this will be out in this week itself.
