Two Good Starts, Two Different Fates

Two movies stood tall during the post-lockdown phase of the pandemic when theatres reopened after the first wave of coronavirus pandemic and they were ‘Uppena‘ and ‘Jathi Ratnalu’.

Krithi Shetty, the heroine of ‘Uppena’ already bagged a couple of movies and there is a lot of curiosity around her being the next big heroine if good films come her way and turn out to be blockbusters.

However, ‘Jathi Ratnalu‘ fame Faria Abdullah is yet to announce her second movie in Tollywood even after the blockbuster success and song on her name ‘Chitti Nee Navvante’ still making waves among the young audiences, especially, children singing the song like an anthem.

Her height is said to be the problem and point of discussion in the movie circles because many of our heroes would look short alongside her. During the promotions of the movie, we’ve seen how she was matched with Prabhas and the latter wondered, “How tall she is! Is it true or is she wearing heels?”

By the way, there are not many tall heroines in the industry and even Pooja Hegde who looks taller than her heroes is 5 feet 5 inches, but Fairia Abdullah is said to be 5 feet 10 inches.

Let’s hope that she finds her place in Tollywood despite height issues as some roles may be designed for her and come to her irrespective of her height. What say?
