Keerthy Suresh’s Father in Controversy

The feud between the association of the Producers and the association of the Distributers in the Malayalam film industry is a big issue now there. Their dispute has caused all of the movies to be released around Christmas to be postponed.

The latest we hear about this feud is that Liberty Basheer, the President of the Exhibitors Federation has accused G Sureshkumar, the chief of the Producers’ association, who also happens to be the father of actress Keerthy Suresh. The accusation is that the delay in the release of all Malayalam movies is to eliminate competition for his daughter’s upcoming movie ‘Bairavaa’.

‘Bairavaa’, which features Keerthy along with Vijay, will hit the screens this January and will easily profit from the strike as initially the film was only supposed to have about a 100 screens but the film strike will give it over 200 screens. However, not all Exhibitors support Basheer in this feud.
