Keerthy Suresh Not Learning From Her Mistakes

On the occasion of Sankranti, Keerthy Suresh announced her next project Revolver Rita on social media with a poster. The poster is rather retro and reminds one of old Jayalalitha films where she played a tomboy chasing the baddies.

We all know after Mahanati became a stupendous hit she took up women-oriented films like Penguin, Miss India, and Chinni, but all of them turned out to be duds.

Now she once again chose to do Revolver Rita, which has Keerthy playing the main protagonist around whom the story revolves. Going by Keerthy’s body of work and her onscreen presence, it is hard to imagine her in a tomboyish role. However, the poster of Revolver Rani projects her in a new dimension.

It remains to be seen if she can pull it off or if she will add another dud to her repertoire. Even the best of actresses can make only one odd heroine-centric film work. We have seen how heroines in the past ruined their careers by doing female-centric films one after the other.

We will have to wait and watch if Keerthy can pull off another heroine-oriented film. It is clear though that Keerthy seems to have no qualms doing films revolving around her, despite continuous flops!
