KGF 2 Surpasses RRR

Only a few weeks to go by to usher in New Year, 2022 as big-ticket and pan-India films are in the lineup to enthrall the cinephiles. There are string of movies that are waiting to hit the screens.

Now, IMDb, one of the go-to sources for the movie, has released the list of 10 most anticipated movies of 2022. And Prashanth Neel’s KGF 2 has surpassed Rajamouli’s RRR to top the list by becoming the most awaited film of 2022. The IMBd has made the analysis based on the number of page views it has got. The analysis has been done by IMDbPro MOVIEmeter data. Yash starrer KGF 2 is set for a grand release on April 14, 2022.

After KGF 2, it is Rajamouli’s RRR that ranks second is scheduled to hit screens on January 7, 2022. Third comes Aamir Khan starrer Laal Singh Chaddha to have a release on April 14. Alia Bhatt starrer Gangubai Kathiawadi ranks at fourth place, which will hit the marquee on February 18, 2022. Tamil star Vijay’s Beast directed by Nelson Dilipkumar comes in fifth place. Kangana Ranaut’s Dhaakad comes in sixth place. Surprisingly, Prabhas and Pooja Hegde starrer Radhe Shyam lands at seventh place.

Then comes Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra at eighth place followed by Tiger Shroff starrer Heropanti 2 and Prabhas’ Adipurush. Interesting, despite the great buzz, Prabhas’s film didn’t make it into the top five.
