KGF-2 Taking a Leaf from Rajamouli!

Not as humungous as ‘Baahubali’, but KGF is a blockbuster in Hindi earning Rs. 40 crores for the Hindi dubbed version. This amount is a way decent for a Kannada film. So, it is called a big success in Bollywood. There is a great curiosity on the second chapter KGF-2 that might begin shooting in Summer 2019.

There is a piece of news making rounds that the makers of KGF-2 are planning to rope in Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt for playing a crucial role in the second chapter. If they can do that, it would be a great addition to the film as KGF has become a pan-Indian movie and the second part has to cater to the tastes of pan-Indian audiences, as well. At this juncture, roping in Bollywood faces will help the movie to get the right attention.

That implies the makers are following the same strategy as ‘Saaho’ and also Rajamouli for RRR. ‘Shraddha Kapoor was brought in for ‘Saaho’ for the same pan-Indian appeal besides a bunch of actors from Bollywood and Rajamouli was said to be keen in bringing in Alia Bhatt for RRR to get the attention across the country right from the beginning.
