Khakee – Another WOM Movie

Khakee is the big release this week. As we have previously updated there are multiple releases tomorrow, but the Karthi starrer stands out. However, it is not showing in occupancy at the cinemas.

The makers along with hero Karthi and heroine Rakul Preet Singh have actively promoted the movie, but the advance bookings aren’t that encouraging. It is below par, to be frank. The only way, and since the promos give a good vibe, the movie could pick up is through good word mouth of mouth.

We had seen in the past few week how the dull booking before release changed post a decent talk, after release. The occupancies for the weekend continue to be near excellent, and then there is a sharp drop. Well, one hopes that the trend is not repeated for Khakee as well.
