The reunion of Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth in the tentatively titled KH×RK has created strong buzz in Kollywood. Since the promo release, fans have been waiting for updates on the shoot schedule and casting details.
Cinematographer Rajiv Menon, who worked on the promo, recently shared insights about the project. His comments about the film and its making have gone viral. He also revealed key details about the tone and style planned by the team.
According to Rajiv Menon, KH×RK is designed as a black humour film. He mentioned that the narration impressed him with its unique approach and strong humour. He agreed to be part of the project immediately after hearing the idea.
He also spoke about the effort behind the promo shoot. Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth had to walk in sync, which required multiple takes. After several attempts, they developed a distinct style that added to the visual appeal.
Rajiv Menon noted that the director prefers multiple takes to achieve precision. Despite the repeated shots, he described the experience as rewarding. Working with two legendary actors added value to the entire process.
He confirmed that the film’s shooting is expected to begin around August or September. This will happen after Rajinikanth completes his 173rd film and Kamal Haasan finishes KH237. The schedule depends on both actors completing their commitments.
The updates have increased excitement among fans on social media. Many believe the combination of strong casting and an interesting concept could make KH×RK a notable film. Expectations are high for Nelson Dilipkumar’s direction.
