Kichcha Sudeepa as Sri Krishna Devaraaya
Kichcha Sudeepa needs no special introduction to the Telugu audiences. The actor’s next project has been announced, on the occasion of his birthday. The film is produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad under People Media Factory and presented by Priya Sudeep through Supriyanvi Picture Studio.
An Empire that shaped history. A King who defined an era. A Legend who lives beyond time. With these striking words, the makers have introduced the title Devaraaya, and Kichcha Sudeepa in a powerful historical figure.
The project’s title glimpse presents Sudeepa as Sri Krishna Devaraaya, the celebrated ruler of the Vijayanagara Empire, and the reveal immediately signals that this is being conceived on a grand canvas. From the emperor’s elaborate appearance to the imposing musical score, every aspect of the presentation works towards creating a sense of scale.
Sudeepa appears almost unrecognisable in his royal makeover. An ornate crown sits prominently above his head, while traditional jewellery featuring layers of pearls adds richness to the costume.
The film is scheduled to arrive in theatres in December 2027. The team will announce the film’s director and other details later.
