Vijay Deverakonda’s Kingdom is the most expensive pan-India film of his career. The teaser received decent response from the audience. The teaser garnered around 15 million views so far in almost two weeks.
On the other hand, Nani’s HIT 3: The Third Case has surpassed 17 million views in just a single day. This view count has become another reason for Vijay Deverakonda and Nani fans to have social media fights.
Budget-wise, there’s a huge difference between the two films. Kingdom is backed by Sithara Entertainment with an investment exceeding 100 crores. In contrast, HIT 3 has a significantly lower budget.
Despite Kingdom having major highlights like Jr. NTR’s voiceover, Anirudh Ravichander’s background score, and Vijay Deverakonda in a never-seen-before violent avatar, the teaser has struggled to gain the expected reach.
One of the key reasons could be the lack of visually captivating shots that demand repeat viewing. Additionally, the team’s effort to keep the storyline under wraps may have diluted its impact.
The remaining promotional content of ‘Kingdom’ must be cut carefully to maximize impact. The film also features Satyadev in a pivotal role, while Bhagyashri Borse plays the female lead.
