Kirrak Beginning On Cards For TFI Summer

The summer box office of Telugu film industry begins unofficially from this week releases. As many as seven films are releasing tomorrow with Kirrak Party, Karthavyam and Dandupalyam 3 leading the charge.

Actually, the Friday would have been much busier with a biggie locked had the Ugadi festival not fallen on Sunday. Still, the new releases would keep the theatres occupied after a dull two to three weeks period.

Kirrak Party is a clear leader and by a significant margin. The advances are decent wherever they have been opened. Actor Nikhil has built a brand among the small budget segments by coming up with an average movie, in the worst case scenario for the past few years. The college theme has helped it further.

Other releases Nayanthara starrer Karthavyam and Dandupalyam 3 are word of mouth dependent. The rest, however, look like nonstarters.
