Southern superstar Rajinikanth has yet another one of his epic film upcoming titled ‘Kochaidaiiyaan’ and after the release of its trailer, it seems like even those who aren’t a fan agree. The visual effects and the action scenes were just amazing and very impressive. However long before the ‘Kochadaiiyaan’ project began, his daughter Soundarya R Ashwin had a plan of immortalizing her father, the superstar with the help of animation. It is heard that back in the year 2007, Soundarya had come up with an animated movie ‘Sultan the Warrior’ featuring Rajinikanth which had to be put off due to financial problems and there was strong buzz about Kochadaiiyaan is the same film with a different title. But in a recent chat with media director Soundarya Rajnikanth of this project made it clear that ‘Kochadaiiyaan’ is a brand new project.
The trailer of ‘Kochaidaiiyaan’ and the trailer of the film ‘Sultan the Warrior’ which was called off have a few noticeable similarities. For instance the sword used by Rajinikanth in the poster of ‘Kochadaiiyaan’ shows striking resemblance to the one used in the other film’s trailer. Even the look of Rajini in both the films are quite similar.
