“I Would Have Tried for Rajinikanth If That’s True”

Koratala Siva who is riding high on the success of ‘Janatha Garage’ denies the rumour of targeting Malayalam market where the film has failed to make any impact. He ruled out the rumours saying that the Malayalam version only has scope of two to three crores which is not a big market to focus on.

He added if the rumours were true, he would have tried his luck with Superstar Rajinikanth and targeted Tamil market instead.

He says even the facial features of Jr NTR and Mohanlal has some similarities which he thought would help the film. Speaking of casting Balayya in Mohanlal’s role he said ‘Janatha Garage’ script wouldn’t have supported them as people look at them beyond movies and one needs to come up with a very powerful subject to convince fans.
