KAY Missing The MCA Buzz?

There is exactly one month to go for the release of Krishnarjuna Yuddham, and one can’t help but feel if the movie is lacking the buzz that was seen with Middle Class Abbayi (MCA). It can be seen with the response to the teaser that was out recently.

The views in Youtube are not the “only” parameter to gauge the overall interest but is undoubtedly an indicator regarding the interest in the project. Despite coming out two days ago, the teaser hasn’t yet crossed 2 Million views. Compare this with MCA; it was blasting the views online for a medium budget film. Even the songs, two released so far, are not that big among the masses though they are fresh and peppy.

Still, there are four weeks to go to release, so we aren’t entirely ruling out the possibility of a jump in anticipation. However, as of now, there sure is no comparison with MCA. It is partly surprising because a film after biggest career hit should have a bigger buzz, and it is unsurprising too at the same time as it lacks in the ‘combo’ department, the Nani and Sai Pallavi combination was a killer with Dil Raju operating as producer.

The good thing is director Merlapaka Gandhi has an excellent track record by scoring two clean hits under the most challenging situations. With Nani at the top of his game scripts wise, Krishnarjuna Yuddham gives a sure-shot success vibe whatever maybe the ‘initial’ response.
