Kushi in the US: Flawlessly Planned!

Vijay Deverakonda’s movie Kushi is just a day away from its US premiere. The film’s music and lead cast have already set the perfect vibe for a Shiva Nirvana film.

In terms of the US release, Kushi stands out as a recent movie with a substantial number of XD shows, with Cinemark hosting most of them.

The decision to have early noon premieres reflects the makers’ confidence in the film. Positive early reviews will likely boost the evening shows at 6 PM and later.

Allocating XD screens and scheduling them with the best show timings, aligning with after-work hours, is a significant distributor challenge. However, Kushi’s US distributor, Shloka Entertainments, has executed this flawlessly.

Even with early noon premieres starting at 3 PM EST (12:30 AM IST midnight), there are also 4-5 additional shows in all prime locations.

It’s now all up to the director, Shiva Nirvana, to bring Kushi through his writing and presentation.
