Lack of courage for Patnaik

Singer-composer R.P Patnaik, who had worked with late actor Uday Kiran in six successful films, feels that he doesn’t have the courage to attend his funeral, which will take place this evening in Hyderabad. Uday, 33, ended life by hanging himself from the ceiling in his flat. Uday’s body has been currently kept at the Andhra Pradesh Film Chamber of Commerce for the public to pay their last respects.

Patnaik posted on his Facebook page that he doesn’t have the courage to attend Uday’s funeral because they were playing songs he had composed for Uday. He said listening to those songs bring back memories of the time he worked with Uday.

He has composed music for Uday’s films such as “Chitram”, “Nuvvu Nenu”, “Manasantha Nuvve”, “Sreeram”, “Nee Sneham” and “Neeku Nenu Naaku Nuvvu”. He also said that he has so many memories with him and still can’t digest the fact that he is gone.
