Lagaan sequel without Aamir?

‘Lagaan’, India’s official entry into Academy Awards is one film which established Mr.Perfectionist Aamir Khan as one of the few actors of Bollywood who is inclined towards sensible concepts. A sequel to this 2001 blockbuster is really exciting is making buzz though the makers of the film are denying it.

If the buzz on the sequel is to be believed, ‘Lagaan 2’ will be made sans Aamir Khan. For this unofficial buzz, Prachi Desai is said to be roped in as heroine. While Aamir is presently busy with his upcoming film ‘Dangal’ in Amristar, the second installment rumors are making rounds.

One can’t imagine ‘Lagaan’ without Aamir Khan and hence this buzz might turn just a rumor. Earlier there had been rumors about ‘Munnabhai’ series that the third part will be made without Sanjay Dutt. But they proved to be false and Sanjay Dutt is on cards.
