Lakshmi has stakes in ‘Chandamama Kathalu’

Actor-producer Lakshmi Manchu is awaiting the release of director Praveen Sattaru’s ‘Chandamama Kathalu’, which will narrate eight different stories, featuring the Lakshmi in the role of a supermodel. Apparently, Lakshmi’s role was inspired by real life super model.

Lakshmi was so impressed with the film that she decided to chip in some money in its production. Sources say that she is likely to distribute the film under her home banner Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures. But Lakshmi doesn’t want to credited as one of the producers because she invested in the film not for monetary benefits but because she really enjoyed the story.

The film, which was inspired by the children’s book Chandamama Kathalu, is slated for release in March. The makers are planning to release its audio in February.
