Young Lakshmi Parvathi Under Pressure

Yagna Shetty, the actress who played the role of Lakshmi Parvathi, much older to her age in RGV’s Lakshmi’s NTR speaks of the pressure that she had gone through while making the film. Not because of the negativity that is there for the titular role that is coming out but it is the internal pressure that she carried to give what the director wanted of her.

As Yagna says, she felt immense pressure to portray the role of Lakshmi Parvathi. Admitting that she knew there are supporters and haters for the film for the perspective that RGV is narrating the story, the actress says she just concentrated on focusing on the director’s guidance on bringing out the Lakshmi Parvathi just as he wanted instead of trying to imitate the personality.

After working in the film, the actress opines her understanding that NTR and Lakshmi Parvathi shared a relationship of intellect where both loved the literature and she stayed support to the legendary man in his last days. Well, at least that is what RGV wants to show may be.
