Latha Rajnikanth threatens to sue for Rs.100 Cr

Seems the financual hassles surrounding superstar Rajnikanth’s name aren’t in a retracking mode anytime soon. After Rajni paid Rs.10 crores to ‘Lingaa’ distributors to settle the issues, here is one more financing firm by name Ad Bureau accusing Latha Rajinikanth of fraud for double selling the rights of ‘Kochadaiiyaan’.

In a reply to the accusations, Mrs.Rajinikanth sent legal notices on the firm threatening it to sue for Rs.100 crore for damage of her reputation. The firm had financed Rs.10 crore to the makers of Rajni’s movie on guarantee from Latha Rajnikanth say the financers.

The Ad Bureau alleges that the makers of the movie haven’t paid the dues and sold away the distribution rights without informing the same. But Latha has a different version that ‘Kochadaiiyaan’ makers already cleared Rs.9 crore and this fresh accusations are made only to extort money. Latha gave a call to the firm to retract their public accusations and also demanded Rs.100 crore for damage of her reputation.
