Leftover Release Dominates New Films

All the new releases have failed and the leftover movie from past week, RX100 is dominating the scene at the box office in Telugu states. It is remarkable because one of those was a Dil Raju production.

Not much was expected from W/O Ram, and nothing from Aatagadhara Shiva, but Lover starring Raj Tarun was undoubtedly a massive disappointment. It had a right combination, and the album had a hit song. There was Dil Raju brand associated with it, and yet the movie failed to take off.

When an old movie matches the new film on the weekend, the writing on the wall is clear. The Monday numbers only confirmed the obvious. Lover is a disaster, and it has put Raj Tarun’s career in serious jeopardy.
