Senior celebrated actor Uppalapati Krishnam Raju passed away in Hyderabad at the age of 83, around 3:25 a.m. on Sunday. He was ailing with health issues.
Born on 20 January 1940, he was one of the strong pillars of Telugu Cinema and acted in 198 films. His last act was in Radhe Shyam as a spiritual Guru.
Krishnam Raju is fondly called the Rebel Star of Telugu cinema, through he gave milestone performances such as Katakatala Rudrayya, Manavoori Pandavulu, Bhakta Kannappa,
Tandra Paparayudu, Amara Deepam and many more.
The funeral procession of legendary actor will be held in Hyderabad. May he rest in eternal peace.
