Lesson Learned, Ram Charan Must Make Note

In under 48 hours from now, Ram Charan will return to the big screens with Game Changer which is scheduled for release on January 10.

However, there’s a fair bit of detrimental talk about the ticket booking trends and promotional material of the film. A section of fans are also displeased with what’s happening.

However, there’s point to be noted here is that Charan is not to be faulted here. It is Shankar’s extremely lethargic performance that is of any concern for this film.

The delay in production and his poorly made Indian 2 in the middle have played a role here.

But Charan, being the polite and respectful man that he is, patiently waited for the director to return. But the delay that was enforced by then, in itself, played a detrimental role.

For any notable film, regardless of the scale and the star cast needs quick execution to make sure that the sheen is intact and it is still fresh in the memory of the audiences.

Nevertheless, there’s still a point of redemption for Game Changer as it comes with the usually lucrative Sankranthi season. All the film needs now is a strong word of mouth to pull the audience to theaters in big numbers.

For this, Shankar must have delivered a clearly winning product that had decent enough impetus to withhold at the box office.

The Sankranthi festival audience will be decisive for the film as they will be playing a decisive role in regaining lost ground for the film. So for now, all eyes are on the kind of content that is on offer.
