Lingaa on par with Aagadu overseas?

Superstar Rajinikanth is showing his star power once again. His new film Lingaa is going to get screened in record number of theatres all over. One would pretty much expect this for the Tamil version as its normal and regularly happening thing for the star. But imagine same thing happening in Telugu?

Lingaa in US is going to achieve this feat. According to the overseas distributors Lingaa is going to release in almost as many screens as Aagadu or slightly less. This would make it the second biggest Telugu release of all time. Lack of major Telugu releases after the Dushera season is seen as a major reason for this huge demand.

With the two Telugu states too it is the same situation. Many territories are giving the film a big release just to feed the theatres as there were no big Telugu releases. Now all depends on the content of the film to make use of this huge vacuum and big release in Telugu.
