Live-in mishap: Pregnant women abandoned

AP and Telangana are seeing a rise in the cheating cases in live-in relationships. Both the state police have been receiving more of such complaints in the recent times.East Godavari in AP and Rangareddy in Telangana top the list in cheating cases in live-in relations.

Police records say that 90% of these cheating cases are related to live-in partners. 47% of live-in cheating cases are registered in Hyderabad, the common state capital of both the states. Rangareddy accounts for 12%, followed by East Godavari and Guntur with 11%.

Vishakhapatnam, the biggest city in AP accounts for one per cent of such cases. Such cases have almost doubled in the last two years as the urbanization is increasing. Most of the affected are in the age group of 25-35 and in most cases women get pregnant and her partner refuse to take up the responsibility.
