Macherla Niyojakavargam: A Big Disaster!

Nithiin took the mass route after a long gap with Macherla Niyojakavargam. The film had a massy trailer and it got off to an okayish start in the domestic market.

But as it turned out, Macherla is being termed a big disaster in the USA and heading towards the same fate in Telugu states.

On its all-important first Sunday, Macherla Niyojakavargam made mere $8K in the USA. The film’s total USA collections are just around $69K. This is an abysmally poor number. It is likely to incur losses to the buyers.

Macherla is turning out to be a huge disaster in the USA market and the situation is no different in India either. After an okayish start, the film crashed big time here.

On the other hand, Nikhil’s Karthikeya 2 is doing pretty well in the USA. The film has collected an impressive $142K on its first Sunday at the box office.

Kartikeya 2 has collected a total of $412K till now and it has entered the profits zone.
