Folk dancer Madhuri Rathod has reportedly attempted suicide, triggering fresh controversy around her ongoing dispute with dancer Eshwar Sai. Madhuri had earlier approached the police, accusing Eshwar Sai of allegedly cheating her on the promise of marriage. She is now reportedly upset over the lack of action in the case and has made serious allegations against the Narsingi police.

According to reports, Madhuri attempted to hang herself at her home. Her family members reportedly noticed what was happening, broke open the door, and rescued her. The incident has brought the dispute back into the spotlight, with her family stating that she took the extreme step after becoming mentally distressed over the situation.

Madhuri has reportedly alleged that she complained against Eshwar Sai, but he was not arrested. She has also accused the Narsingi police of trying to protect or help him.

The dispute between the two folk dancers has been continuing for some time. It came into public view after Eshwar Sai’s wife reportedly confronted the two when they were together spending ‘private’ time in a room. Videos connected to the incident subsequently circulated widely on social media. Eshwar Sai had reportedly denied wrongdoing, while Madhuri later approached the police, claiming that he had deceived her by allegedly promising to marry her.

The latest incident has now made the matter much more serious. The focus is no longer just on the personal allegations between the two dancers, but also on Madhuri’s claim that her complaint did not receive the action she expected.
