Trailer Talk: Hitting All Right Notes For OTT

Here comes the trailer of the much-awaited, Maestro. It is the remake of the successful Hindi movie, Andhadhun. Nithiin stars in the remake, which is also produced on his home banner.

Maestro is a thriller with music playing an integral part. It belongs to the crime comedy genre but with a very intriguing premise interlinked with music. It reflects in the title of the movie itself, Maestro, a term related to ‘music’.

Nithiin is struggling off late to get the right project to score a big success. Maestro is that perfect subject. Unfortunately, the makers had to opt for an OTT release. Well, he is lucky that the subject holds great interest to the OTT audience.

Merlapaka Gandhi directs Maestro. He has in the past delivered success that the target audience of Maestro has lauded. Even recently, his work as a writer won great appreciation for Ek Mini Katha. Maestro is, therefore, the perfect outing, whether it’s OTT or theatrical. Unfortunately, we have to settle for the former.

The casting of Tamannaah came under a lot of scanner for Maestro. Given the glimpse and her pairing with Jisshu Sengupta, it looks fine overall. Nabha Natesh looks angelic as always. The background score by Mahati Swara Sagar is good. The visuals add to the slick production values.
