Maha Samudram OTT Platform Locked

Ajay Bhupathi’s Maha Samudram is all set for theatrical release during Dasara season, October 14. Starring Sharwanand, Siddharth and other bevy of artistes, the film theatrical trailer got good reception with many views on YouTube.

While the makers are yet to announce their deal with an OTT platform, it is rumoured that Maha Samudram digital rights have been sold to Netflix. Recently, the OTT giant bagged the rights of Nani’s Shyam Singha Roy. And now if the rumour around Maha Samudram turns out to be true, then it proves that the OTT giant is surely trying to thrust itself into the Telugu market as well.

Sharwanand’s last Telugu release was Sreekaram. Although it had a novel concept, the film failed to entice at the ticket window. The actor has been reeling under flops of late. And Maha Samudram carries good buzz, thus the actor has pinned all hopes on this.

Apart from Maha Samudram, it is Akhil Akkineni’s Most Eligible Bachelor that is slated for release on October 15. While both the films have contrast genres and distinct appeal, how the two will fare is to be seen.
