Superstar Gets a Warning from Sasikala?

Sasikala, the State President of a religious outfit Hindu Ikyavedi issued an ultimatum to the makers of Malayalam superstar Mohanlal’s upcoming epic movie ‘Mahabharata‘. This movie will be the adaptation of the famous novel titled ‘Randamuzham’.

In this story, the narration will happen in the perspective of Bheema, one of the Pandavas. It’s a fiction and the version of the writer, MT Vasudevan Nair. Sasikala has got no problem with the movie but the title of the movie. She demanded that the makers had to retain the title of the novel.

If not, the movie isn’t going to see the light of the day. She is going to stop the movie’s release. ‘Mahabharata’ is the title of the epic written by Veda Vyasa and hence MT Vasudevan Nair’s fiction can’t use the name as it will hurt the religious sentiments of the people. Will the makers acknowledge her demand?
