Mahanati Director Says No to Sridevi Biopic!

Mahanati has got a great applause from the film industry and the audience for its perfect content and the screenplay. Also, the film is doing a fair job at the box office abroad and locally. After watching such a tribute to the legendary actress, one would think Nag Ashwin would be the best to do the biopic of Sridevi too.

After Sridevi’s death, there were quite a few hearsay that a couple of directors from Bollywood and other film industries to make a film on her life. Now, after Mahanati, there are expectations on Nag Ashwin if he is planning on doing Sridevi’s too. But he said no.

Speaking in an interview, asked by the host if Nag is planning on doing the atiloka sundari’s film, Nag said that he has absolutely no plans, not only on Sridevi’s, but also on what is his next. “No idea,” he says. Well, for now, Mahanati has given him a lifetime success.
