Mahesh now adopts a village in Telangana

It is known that Superstar’s latest film deals with adopting a village and post release Mahesh announced that he will be adopting his own village Burripalem from Guntur district. Mahesh on his social account stated that Smart Village initiative lead by AP CM Chandrababu prompted him to adopt his village.

Mahesh said he is happy to receive a call from Telangana minister KTR to appreciate on the success of Srimanthudu. KTR requested Mahesh to adopt a village from the most backward district of Mahbubnagar as part of Telangana government’s initiative ‘GramaJyothi’ for which Superstar happily obliged.

By adopting two villages, one each from both Telugu states Mahesh maintained the balance. But the real question is will he set an example for other heroes by making these two places as model villages? Only time will answer this.
