Mahesh & Allu Arjun Collection War to Producers’ Guild

When it comes to collections of big movies, fan wars have become very common in both Tollywood and Kollywood. In the wake of the recent ugly fan wars between Mahesh Babu’s and Allu Arjun’s fans over their Sankranthi releases, Producers’ Guild has taken a move.

Hereafter, the collections of newly released movies will be tracked and announced by the Producers’ Guild not the production companies. The fake collections of ‘Ala Vaikumthapurramloo’ and ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ took the war to a shameful level.

As of now, the box-office collection trackers aren’t in place and therefore, a larger section of audiences stopped caring the collection figures as there is no trust.

Even if the Producers’ Guild would be announcing the figures, the production houses will be posting their figures leading to further confusion on the numbers from the guild.

A huge country like India has been struggling to come up with a box-office tracking system across the languages as the movie business is huge in various film industries across the country.
