Mahesh Dropped ‘Superstar’ Tag – Smart Move!

Mahesh Babu is popular as a superstar in Telugu. But then, there is already a superstar in Kollywood who has an immense fan following. So, Mahesh Babu didn’t want to add the ‘Superstar’ to his name for the title credits revealed AR Murgadoss at the audio launch event held in Chennai, last night.

According to Murugadoss, Mahesh said that audiences love are enough. There is no second thought that Mahesh Babu is a superstar here. But, the legendary Rajinikanth is the superstar in Tamil and there would be clashes with his fans if Mahesh adds the tag to his name as ‘SPYder’ is going to release in Tamil, as well.

Speaking the truth, this is a smart move by Mahesh Babu as we know how the Tamil audiences are very particular about the tag and love their matinee idol Rajinikanth to the extent that they wouldn’t like anyone to use the tag. This will avoid any issues. These days, it’s the content that speaks louder than any tags.
